Lots to Catch Up On...

We haven't been able to figure out how to log into our account for the past two months, so now that we're back online here's a quick rundown since our update.

Looking back through our camera it would appear that only two noteworthy events have really taken place.  In March we celebrated Steve's birthday with a "King Julian" theme (from Penguins of Madagascar movie).  The kids were majorly excited to decorate, make hats, and wrap gifts.

Making her b-day gift surprise -- chocolate covered strawberries.  She just wanted to give Daddy the ingredients but Mom convinced her to actually make them too.  She did a great job!

Waiting for Dad to come home so we can jump out and yell, "Surprise!"

Who's the King?  King Julian!

Aside from the old man's birthday, the only other pictures we appear to have taken have been Easter themed fun.  On the Saturday before Holy Week our church held its annual family fun 'Easter Eggstravaganza'.  This is always one of our favorite and most fun events, with lots of fun games, crafts, and more!

After some yummy breakfast, the morning started off with a devotion reminding us that the scars of Jesus remind us that it is by His wounds that we are healed.  Then it was off to the fun...

Somewhere under this pile of grinning children and pillows is father who only wanted to get some rest, maybe even a nap on the couch.  Silly guy, better luck next time...

Our other outing was an opportunity to head to the "governor's residence" in Madison for some more Easter fun.  Thanks to a special invite from some good friends we were able to spend another Saturday playing games, painting faces, eating cookies, and hunting for eggs.  Plus this time we were able to add a petting zoo and balloon animals!

After Dad did some serious heckling (and booing) when Isaiah was trying the egg toss, it was his turn.  He didn't fare any better and even added a few extra hecklers along the way!
