As the memory card in my camera was full of our memories, I realized just how long it has been since I have blogged (and G's reminder was a kick in the pants too!).  So here goes!  Just like that we are one month into a busy summer.  In June we spent much time in the car to northern MN for a wedding and then out to NJ for a family wedding.

We just got back this past Sunday night from our journey to New Jersey.  Let me tell you driving with 3 kiddos on a 17+ hour drive sounded to me like a death sentence.  I was dreading it.  The trip started out rocky as we were about 30 minutes into the drive when the first, "I have to pee" phrase was uttered.  That was followed by the kids not falling asleep until 11:30pm (we left our house at 8pm).  Finally the car was quiet, except for the sound of pounding rain.  It rained for nearly the entire drive!  At one point we had to pull over and sleep in the car to let the rain to pass.  21 hours later, we pulled into our final destination.  Ahhhh, we made it!

The week was full of eating, sun, fun, and family.  Here are some highlights in pictures...

Since our family in NJ never gets to celebrate any of our kid's birthdays, we decided to throw Collin an early 1st birthday party.  Can you guess our theme?  Here are the highlights:
