Collin's first time dying Easter eggs. He LOVED it!
Such concentration
Fun Glasses from Grandma and Grandpa
Steve was trying to teach the kids how to do a push up, then Collin climbed on.
Then they all climbed on, and Steve did a push up with all 3 of them on his back!
The Saturday before Easter we went to our local greenhouse where they have an egg hunt.
Collin tired to open every egg.
Then he realized they were empty. He was NOT happy. (they give you the candy when you turn in the empty eggs)
The Easter bunny left Isaiah a new chair for his room. They tried it out together.
Then these 2 goofballs tried it! Collin had more candy than I realized at this point, and he didn't slow down. And it was all before 7 am!
Our goofy picture
A nicer picture. Again, Collin was on a sugar high so he was pretty goofy in all the pictures!!
After naps we went out to hunt for our eggs.
Collin is looking for an egg. He honestly could not see the pink one in the bush!!
Oh, there it is!
We had a pretty tall Easter bunny this year, who hid the eggs in really hard places!
We had a blast celebrating our risen Lord. As I was putting Collin to sleep last night, he recounted the Holy Week for me. (add a whole bunch of stutters in here)....
Mom, Jesus had his last meal with his friends, then one growled at him. Then they threw rocks at Jesus and he had owies on his forehead. Jesus died on the cross. Mom, why Jesus die on the cross? Me: Because he loves you. Yeah, and Jesus had his last meal with his friends......repeat....
I am amazed at the knowledge this little bugger picks up on, however we talked about this story A LOT during Holy Week. The kids were so interested and I was more than happy to discuss it.
We hope your Easter was as blessed as ours was.
